Returns accepted within 30 days if the print arrives damaged or is not what you ordered. Because each print is made to order, change-of-mind returns are accepted only on unframed prints in their original tube, and return postage is paid by the buyer.

What you receive

About this print

This is a reproduction of Water Lilies (Grandes Décorations), printed on 380 gsm cotton canvas with pigment inks. The source file comes from a museum or public-domain archive; the print is made to order and inspected before it ships.

It is not an original artwork, not a limited edition, not signed and not numbered. Monet died in 1926 and the work itself is in the public domain, which is what allows a reproduction to exist at all — but a reproduction is still a reproduction, and the difference matters when you are choosing what to put on a wall.

The source and the colour

The original is held by Musée de l'Orangerie, Paris. Its palette is blue, violet, green, gold. Our file is colour-managed to that palette rather than pushed toward neutral white, which is the usual way reproductions flatten a Monet.

Screens emit light; pigment reflects it. A print will always look slightly denser and less luminous than a backlit display. If you need to match a specific wall or fabric, ask us for a physical proof before ordering a framed piece.
