1. Who we are

MonetMall prints and sells reproductions of paintings by Claude Monet, and publishes reference information about those paintings. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean MonetMall; "you" means the person placing an order or using the site.

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.

2. What we sell

We sell reproduction prints on cotton canvas. Every item is a copy of a painting that is in the public domain. We do not sell original artworks, limited editions, signed prints or numbered editions, and nothing on this site should be read as a claim to the contrary.

Reference articles describe the paintings, their history and their technique. They are editorial content, not an appraisal, an authentication or a valuation of any object.

3. Orders and pricing

An order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send an order confirmation. If a product is mispriced or unavailable, we may decline the order and refund any amount already taken.

Prices are shown in US dollars and exclude any import duties or taxes levied at destination. Those charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

4. Payment

Payments are processed by third-party providers. We do not receive or store full card numbers. Each provider has its own terms, and by choosing a payment method you accept those terms.

Where a provider acts as merchant of record, that provider is the seller of record for the transaction and handles applicable sales tax or VAT.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to resell our prints as originals, not to remove or obscure any reproduction notice supplied with an order, and not to use the site to break any law in your jurisdiction.

Public domain status applies to the underlying painting. A specific photograph or digital capture of a painting may carry its own rights in some jurisdictions; our source files are used under open-access terms or licence, and we do not grant you rights in them beyond viewing the site.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or any loss arising from hanging, framing or displaying a print.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware.

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force for your order is the one published when the order was placed. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date.
